The thanksgiving feeling
It's been ages since I wrote my last blog. Life has been busy with work and work and work. I have to adjust with new environment, different life style and new job. It has been so busy that I don't actually feel I have a social life, a time when you get together with friends and enjoy friendships.
It has been about six months that I am back in Indonesia and many times I thought about Loma Linda a lot. As it was getting close to Christmas break and I got the tourist visa to visit, I have been looking foward to fly to California and be 'home' with my 'family' in Christ. Wow.. then I realized this is what 'thanksgiving' feeling is all about. When you cannot wait to travel and be back home with family, enjoy the time together in fellowship and food.. hahahaa.
At this moment, I am in Loma Linda and have caught up with some friends. Wow....it does not seem like it has been six months. Even though life has changed for some people but the friendship is still there. I feel at home here somehow.
Cannot wait to be back to Singing bands even though only for one time.
I thank the Lord for His blessings that I am still allowed to be here, even tough only for a little 'break'.
